The first talk was a representative from Super Rewards. Most of it was the description of the stuff that they do.



Super Rewards is a virtual currency monetization platform. You can get virtual currency directly via PayPal, credit cards, direct bank debit cards, stored value cards, or mobile phones. Social Game Fest Class -Using the Unity Game Engine Within Facebook

This was a presentation by 3 people from Unity and it was about their game engine that can be used within Facebook. Their game engine can also be integrated with phone applications, other web sites, and other social networks. When this class was held a few weeks ago, the basic Unity software was recently announced to be free. Their professional version is $1500.

Social Game Fest Class - Monetizing a Facebook Social Game

Nicholas Talerico of OfferPal gave a talk on how to monetize social games to make money. He said that network-wide that the eCPM was $150 to $200. Average publisher payout was $75 / day / 1000 users. The conversion rate was > 5% which is 40 times better than traditional CPA. Revenues per completion is about $5.00.
